Article 4

Bib Collection

Bibs can be collected on Friday, April 10th, and Saturday, April 11th. The location is pending confirmation.

To pick up the bib, it will be essential to show the registration receipt or a copy of the ID card.

You can pick up another runner's bib by presenting their registration receipt or a photo of their ID.

Bibs will not be handed out on race day.

Article 5

Registration Refunds

Once the registration is formalized, the amount will not be refunded nor will it be deferred to the next edition under any circumstances.

At the time of registration, the runner may contract a guarantee for their registration through "Cancellation Insurance".

To do so, between the two available options, you must choose the one that indicates "Yes, I want Cancellation Guarantee with a 100% refund of the fee" (CHECK CONDITIONS BEFORE CONTRACTING).

  • The cancellation guarantee can only be contracted at the time of registration.
  • This insurance only covers some contingencies (injuries, serious health problems, or personal circumstances such as job changes). CHECK CONDITIONS BEFORE CONTRACTING.
  • The amount of the cancellation guarantee is non-refundable.

In the case of opting for registration without Cancellation Insurance, the runner who cannot participate for any reason may not request a refund, but may request a change of ownership of the bib, to transfer it to another runner. The deadline for this is March 29, 2026.

Article 6

Insurance

All participants correctly registered in the event will be covered by civil liability and accident insurance. The organization has the corresponding civil liability insurance. Participation of unregistered runners is strictly prohibited.

The organization recommends a medical check-up and/or stress test for all those who have not run a race of similar characteristics before or have gone a long period without physical activity.

Article 7

Technical Aspects

There is a time limit of 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete the 10-kilometer race.

After that time, the organization reserves the right to close the finish line and the official timing of the event.

Organization staff and Local Police may withdraw runners who do not meet the pace checks adjusted to the time limit (eight minutes per kilometer).

The circuit will be closed to traffic, and only accredited official vehicles may accompany the race.

Any athlete who, knowing of their inability to participate, provides incorrect data to the Organization in order to do so, will be disqualified. It should be remembered that claims must be made to the Race Referee, up to 30 minutes after the race classification is made public.

Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these Regulations. The Organization reserves the right to modify those aspects of the event that are necessary due to force majeure, with prior authorization from the Race Referee.

For legal, sporting, and safety reasons, the bib may not be transferred to another runner without following the process provided for it, and without obtaining the consent of the organization. If the organization becomes aware of such a circumstance, the bib will be disabled, and the details of the person transferring or selling it may be noted, preventing their registration for the next 4 years.

Anything not provided for in these regulations will be resolved by the Race Referee, in accordance with the current regulations of WA, RFEA, and FAA.

Article 8

Timing and Results

Timing and ranking control will be carried out using a chip system with validation by the FAA jury. The company CRONOCHIP ARAGÓN, responsible for timing, is validated by the RFEA.

The results of the Zaragoza Marathon 10K can be viewed on the event's website, www.zaragozamaraton.com, and on the FAA website www.federacionaragonesadeatletismo.com in the calendar section.

Acceptance

All participants, by registering, accept these regulations, and in case of doubt or if any situation arises not reflected therein, the Organizing Committee's decision will prevail.

  • I certify that I am in good physical condition.
  • I exempt Lastlap, Club de Atletismo Corre en Zaragoza, sponsors or commercial partners, directors, employees, the Event Organizing Company, and other organizers from any liability that may derive from participation in the event, such as loss of personal objects due to theft or other circumstances.
  • I waive any legal action that may derive from participation in the event.
  • I authorize the event organizers to record my participation in whole or in part through photographs, films, television, radio, video, and any other known or future medium, and I cede all rights relating to their commercial and advertising exploitation as they deem appropriate, without the right on the part of the runner to receive financial compensation.

Article 11

Personalized Race Photos

During the race, the entity KST Fotografía, as Data Processor for Last Lap and the Corre en Zaragoza club, will take photos of the event for the purpose of publishing said images on the website and social networks of the event and the organizers.

In the event that the participant checks the corresponding box, KST Fotografía, as Data Controller, will also process said images to make them available for viewing and sale to the participant.

  • The participant, by activating the camera of their mobile device (not the bib or any other photo to preserve the image of third-party runners), will access their race photos, only theirs, which they can view and purchase if they deem it appropriate.
  • KST Fotografía would not have access to any runner data, and the action, until the acceptance of the legal terms we mark, would be on the official race website. They cannot be purchased in any way other than through that procedure.
  • From this operation, KST Fotografía receives a payment from the runner, provided they purchase the photos. Viewing will not have any cost to the user.
